‘Poetic Nostalgia’

Nostalgia saunters through the corridors

The emptiness is filled with the haunting memories of time gone by

She feels nothing of sorrow, nothing of pain

just the richenss of the voices that have long since wane

The familiar passages call to her

inviting her to waltz in the light

where all the music has begun to fade

For Nostalgia, she is not bound by time

with eyes half masked she is embraced by the dance

where the scents comfort her and the music continues
