PS: Hello Dimitris, Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts with us. Tell me a bit about yourself, where you are from, where you are based?

DS: I’M a Greek guy born and raised in Germany, studied in London and currently based in Athens Greece.

PS: How long have you been a fashion designer?

DS: I’ve been a costume designer for 15 years now and as a fashion designer I exist 4 years creating the brand Celebrity Skin.

PS: What would you say has been your greatest inspiration?

DS: My involvement with the theatre, because it has established my point of view, nurtured my inspirations and raised my creativity.

PS: How did you come to express yourself in this medium of art?

DS: I always adored clothes and fashion, as a kid I admired the fashion editorials in the magazines and wanted to see my creations in such a way.

PS: How would you describe your work in a whole?

DS: Celebrity Skin is a brand which creates avant garde clothes with a touch of commercial elements, in colors of black, nude and white.

PS: How would you describe this collection?

DS: Our new collection is experimental, edgy, more theatrical influenced than ever, with rock elements, a lot of spice and a lot of goth glam.

PS: What materials do you prefer to work with?

DS: Organic cotton, organza, silk, linen and a lot of soft wool.

PS: What are your personal aspirations?

DS: To create a certain ID in the fashion industry and be influential.

PS: What has given you the greatest satisfaction to date in your own personal development with your work?

DS: Celebrity Skin was invited as special European guest designer in Mexico, Guadalajara, at the Minerva fashion Jalisco, last winter. We presented the Industrial Ray collection which had excellent critical and commercial success.

PS: What can we look forward to, coming from Celebrity Skin?

DS: More experimental collections, more breathtaking editorials, more twisted looks.
